One Long Friday

Pitch a camp, pick up a trade, work the crowd and sell what you make, all through a festival weekend with the people you came with. We are looking for playtesters on every kind of computer, and for real independent shops to fill the vendor row.

The game

A whole festival weekend, from the parking lot to the sunrise set.

You show up with a car full of gear and a little cash. The weekend is yours: set up camp, make friends, learn a craft, sell what you make and catch the sunset at the Main Stage. A little lantern travels with you and lights up as you grow.

Made by Chandler Allan Arts

An independent studio run by a festival vendor. Everything in the game comes from real weekends on the row.

About the studio

What you do there

Make things, sell things, meet people.

Part life sim, part crafting game, part marketplace. What you earn goes into better gear, a bigger ride and a nicer camp.

Selling

Sell what you make

Turn salvaged wood into furniture, cut gems, cook, brew. Then set up a booth, read the buyer and name your price.

Crafts

Pick up a craft, or five

Woodworking, gem cutting, cooking, foraging, busking and more. Spend the weekend on the ones you enjoy and get better at them each day.

Online

Bring your friends

Other festival-goers share the grounds with you: the same stages, the same sunset, the same late-night parties. Your camp, your story and your sales stay your own.

Worlds come online for each playtest wave.

Crew

Camp with a crew

Your car decides how many friends come along, from a sedan to a full RV.

The gate

The gate is real

A security line, a bag check, and outside food that can't pass. Eat it in line, bin it, or walk it back to camp.

Trinkets

Take One, Leave One

Build and paint a trinket box at camp. Leave something, take something. Nothing in it is for sale.

Playtesters wanted

We want your computer, whatever it is.

A game is only finished when it runs well on the machines people actually own. We are picking testers across every kind of setup: new gaming rigs, five-year-old laptops, Macs, Linux boxes and handhelds. You do not need to be a pro. You need to play, notice things and tell us honestly.

  • Play alpha builds before anyone else
  • Tell us what broke, what dragged and what you loved
  • Help shape a festival game made by people who go to festivals
  • 18 and over (the festival gets a little wild at night)

Real-life vendors

Put your real shop on the festival's vendor row.

The vendor row lines Main Street, right where every player walks in. Each tent is a real independent shop: players browse your actual products inside the game and buy on your own store's checkout. We review every shop by hand, because players trust the row and we intend to keep it that way.

  • You keep your own store, prices and checkout
  • A tent with your name, your products and your style
  • Players who buy from you earn supporter points in the game
  • Every application is reviewed by a person, shop and reviews included
  • Read-only: we see purchases, transactions and cancellations, and cannot change anything in your Shopify
01

Apply

Five minutes: your shop, what you sell, where your reviews live.

02

A person reviews it

Your shop, your policies and your reviews, by hand. New shops are welcome: fewer reviews just means a different starting tier.

03

Your tent goes live

Connect your store and your tent appears on the row for every player, no game update needed. Leave any time and the tent frees up.

Questions

Before you apply.

Is the playtest free?
Yes. Testers never pay. Your invite email carries the download and an invite key for your account.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows PC for the first waves. We are collecting Mac, Linux and Steam Deck testers for later waves. A dedicated graphics card helps, but older and lower-end machines are exactly what we want to see it on too.
When will I hear back?
Every application is read by a person. Invites go out in small waves as the alpha grows, and each wave mixes different kinds of machines and players.
How is my application used?
Only to pick and talk to testers and vendors. Nothing is sold or shared, and you can ask us to delete it. The details are in the privacy policy.
Is there an NDA?
Testers agree to keep builds, screenshots and details private until we say sharing is open. We will tell you when it is.
Vendors: can you see or change my Shopify store?
We connect through Shopify webhooks that only tell us about purchases, transactions and cancellations. We cannot change your products, prices, settings or anything else in your Shopify store.
Vendors: do I need Shopify?
Shopify stores connect directly today. Shops on Etsy, Square, WooCommerce and others can apply now; those connections are being built.
What does a booth cost?
Pricing comes with your approval. Booths are planned as flat monthly plans rather than a cut of your sales, established shops with strong reviews pay less, and new shops start on a tier that fits.
How do players buy from my tent?
In the game they browse your real products in your tent. Checkout opens your own store's page in their browser, under your shipping and returns policy. Players who buy earn supporter points in the game.
